Practiced with a small firm from 1989 until 1991, focusing primarily on Criminal Defense Law and Wills/Probate Law. Began solo private practice in 1991, focusing on Criminal Defense Law and Wills/Probate Law.
Served on Board of Directors as member, legal advisor, and Chairman of the Board, of Houston Resource Group, a non-profit corporation overseeing grants of monies from Texas Departmenmt of Health and federal Ryan White funds granted to HIV/AIDS providers in Harris County and nine surrounding counties. Resigned my position as Chairman in January 2011, after 20 years of pro bono service to the community.
